I am a mixed media artist and work with many different water-based materials and combinations of materials in my art including paint, pastels, photographs, ephemera, fabric, cardboard, canvas, paper towels, markers, and pencils, etc.. My process is intuitive and spontaneous. Most of my pieces are colorful, multi-layered, and textured in one form or another. My strong connection to color is an ongoing theme in my work. I usually work on many pieces simultaneously which keeps the process fresh and exciting for me. I enjoy singing and listening to music when I am working, and I often dream about my pieces-the subjects, techniques and/or composition solutions or other technical issues.
